Interior design
Google office by Scott Brownigg
This interior has been deigned around the brand name ‘google’. The two o’s form doorways. The office is very open plan, light and spacious. The brand colours are used throughout the office. The office is bright and fun however after a long period of time in the office I wonder if you would develop a headache.
Wienerwald restaurant by Ippolito Fleitz Group
I have researched interiors of restaurants for inspiration for the school canteen in the new building. Just like Wienerwald restaurant I would want to keep the colour scheme throughout the canteen the same this also helps with way finding. This colour scheme of browns and greens is meant to reference nature and forests. Furthermore they have forest graphics and tree motifs covering some of the walls and windows.
Aesop at Merci By March Studio
March Studio has trapped 4500 cardboard boxes behind a netting in this store for Australian brand. This amazing installation uses the brands own packaging to create the installation. This also acts as a focal point and furthermore advertises the product all at the same time. As we are in visual arts and design strand I think a installation as a focal point would be a great idea as it ties in with our strand and what were all about.
